MOONLIGHT SUMMER — (Summer mixed with Winter) Hair coloring: dark ash brown to brunette or silver hair, that could place them in Winter, but they do not drape best in dark Winter colors. Their fan may include black or charcoal-gray, best worn with white or cream. Eyes are usually blue, but might also be light green or light brown (though brown eyes are rare for Summers).
You get the seasonal palette you fall in, and then you mark the best colors for your sub season. For Moonlight summer (summer/winter), it's the darkest colors at the end of these cards.
Moonlight Summer -Summer/Winter: Bouquet Colors; All, Strips; Note that position A is best, but can also wear positions B, C and E. 1 A-E but with E position as best, 7, 11, 12, 13, 20, 23, 26, 28, 29, 30, 34-36, 38, 40
Jeweltone Summer in another system? You might want to go with the Winter palette.

Contrasting Summer: If you know you're a summer, but can't quite fit as a Type 2, and veer towards a Type 4, you might be a Contrasting Summer, which is a a Color Alliance category. I'm now considering myself Type 4, then Type2, which would be Contrasting Winter, and Imperial because of my eye and hair color combination, and is Patrician Winter in the Caygill system.
