To me it's not so much the issue of tone or tint, but the combination of the lighter and darker colors (for contrasting) vs. wearing tones of all one color (subtle/blended) which didn't work for me. Notice how the dark blue is the dark of my hair and the lavender (?) goes with my skin (and lippie), but they are still Summer colors? Summer colors in general, in many 12 color seasonal palettes, are not required to be as "greyed" as T2 in FTS.

 I love Lauren Graham because she's such a gorgeous blend of hard and soft, lots of contrast with softness.







 



She really begins to get lost in black, 
even though she often dyes her hair darker,
and has a lot of contrast.
