Fujii's High-Contrast Summer: The High-Contrast Summer woman has the cool- light skintone of a High-Contrast Winter, but her hair color is lighter and softer, ranging from a medium ash brown to a burgundy brown. Also, her overall look is softer than that of a High-Contrast Winter. She does not tan easily. Even though there is a definite softness to her overall look, her palette includes some deeper and more intense colors. Her palette is general cool, with saturated jewel-tone colors.

Neutrals such as rosewood, cocoa brown and charcoal blend will with highlights in her brown hair.

Other colors which look terrific on her include dusty rose, rose coral, dark teal blue, rugby red, and emerald green. Her best metals are silver or pewter and her best white is off white.

Great color combinations: Emerald green with rose red, plum and mauve, magenta and purple, teal blue and wine, cognac and grape, mono chromatics of almost any hues (colors).

Skin: Pink undertone. Porcelain, rose beige, can have light to medium brown freckles, ruddy, possibly uneven complexion, can have a slight yellow tint on the surface of the skin.
Hair: Ash brown, burnt umber, grayish brown, chestnut brown, burgundy brown.

Eyes: Blue, gray-blue, soft gray, green, gray-green, hazel, aqua, soft cool brown.

Do's: If you hair coloring is darker burgundy brown, you can wear black as a dominant color, especially in the evening, because under artificial lighting, your hair will appear darker than it is. For a more dramatic look, add a little darker eye makeup.

Don'ts: Do not use extremely bright colors such as tangerine orange, lime green or golden yellow.

Makeup suggestions for HC Summer: Lipstick: Deep Rose Blush: Ginger Rose (just slightly warmer, but on the cool side)
