"Another tough one to type is a Jewel Tone Summer. These women may look best in clear and brilliant pigments touched with just a bit of black. Shouldn’t this be Winter? Not if their body type, facial character, quality of voice and movement calls for fluid, flowing, draping design and sinuous curves."

Contrasting Summer: If you know you're a summer, but can't quite fit as a Type 2, and veer towards a Type 4, you might be a Contrasting Summer, which is a a Color Alliance category. I'm now considering myself Type 4, then Type2, which would be Contrasting Winter, and Imperial because of my eye and hair color combination, and is Patrician Winter in the Caygill system.
